By January 2016, Mathematics Collection of Evidence students at Walker High School will demonstrate mastery of the Algebra I standards by completing a proficient Collection of Evidence portfolio. Students will demonstrate this mastery by completion of in class teacher created materials, and state created prompts. To attain this goal, staff will instruct common lessons, and collaborate at minimum bi-monthly on student progress and assessing student work.
Language Arts/Social Studies
During first semester, students will improve in analyzing primary and secondary source documents. Each student will increase his/her ability to analyze documents by at least one level on the rubric from their current baseline level. At least 75% of students will score at “proficient” or above.
